In this meaningful month of March, One Shang Healthcare had the distinct honor of being invited to participate in the International Women’s Month Celebration organized by the Philippine Consulate in Xiamen. Under the theme “Talakayan: Online usapang pangkalusugan,” the event focused on women’s health, delivering messages of care and empowerment.

As the featured lecturer of the event, Dr. Chris Hemady delivered a heartfelt and insightful talk on women’s health. The discussion resonated deeply with the Filipino community in Xiamen, especially addressing the realities of women who often find themselves caught between demanding work schedules and family responsibilities — too frequently overlooking their own physical and mental well-being.
作为本次活动的讲座主讲嘉宾，Dr. Chris Hemady 围绕“女性健康”这一核心议题，为在场的菲律宾侨胞带来了一场温暖而深刻的分享。讲座内容贴近生活、回应现实，尤其关注那些在忙碌工作与家庭责任之间奔波的女性——她们常常因生活的忙碌节奏而忽略了自己的身体与心理健康。
“Taking care of yourself is not a luxury — it’s a necessity.” This simple yet powerful message was at the heart of the lecture. Through a combination of professional medical insight and sincere compassion, One Shang Healthcare reminded every woman: only by caring for your own health can you better love, strive, and dream for the future.

After the activity, Consul General Winston Almeda, along with his attaché staff, paid a special visit to the clinic to personally present a Plaque of Appreciation. The award recognized Dr. Hemady’s active contributions to women’s health advocacy and community service. This warm gesture and strong support from the Consulate meant a great deal to the entire team at One Shang Healthcare.
活动结束后，菲律宾驻厦门总领事 Winston Almeda 先生携领馆工作人员，专程莅临诊所，亲自向Dr. Chris Hemady颁发感谢状（Plaque of Appreciation），以表彰其在女性健康倡导和社区服务中所作出的积极贡献。这份来自领事馆的肯定与支持，令我们倍感温暖与鼓舞。
